A Qissa Story Guide welcomes your loved one, explains the whole process, answers every question, and asks for their consent. Together they choose phone or Google Meet and a comfortable date for the first story session.

The Story Guide listens in a recorded phone or Google Meet session and asks thoughtful follow-up questions that open the memory fully. Some storytellers finish in one 3–4 hour conversation; others prefer several shorter sessions.

The Story Guide collaborates with a professional writer to shape the recordings into a clear, faithful narrative. We edit, translate when needed, design every chapter, and place the photographs the family chooses to share.

After the final session and all agreed materials arrive, writing, translation, design, proofing, and printing usually take 2–3 weeks. We send the proof for the included revision round before the hardcover goes to print.
