Is Qissa a subscription?+
No. Qissa is a one-time purchase that covers one full year of weekly prompts, transcription, translation, editing, and one hardcover book. Nothing auto-renews and there are no hidden fees. Most families complete their story collection within the year. If your loved one has more stories than can fit in twelve months, you can renew for another year — but only if you choose to.
Which plan should I choose?+
Choose Basic if your loved one is comfortable replying to weekly WhatsApp or email prompts after onboarding. Choose Premium if they would benefit from monthly guided calls with a dedicated story listener who helps draw out memories they might not share otherwise.
Can I pay in installments?+
We are working on installment options. For now, the full amount is due at purchase. If you need flexibility, reach out to our team and we will do our best to help.
What happens after the year ends?+
Your family receives the finished hardcover book and retains access to the lifetime digital archive. The story collection period closes, but the archive remains available forever.
Can I upgrade from Basic to Premium later?+
Yes. If you start with Basic and decide you want the guided calls and extra features, you can upgrade by paying the difference. Contact our team and we will handle it.
Do you offer refunds?+
If the storyteller has not yet begun sharing stories, we offer a full refund. Once the process has started, we cannot refund but will work with you to make the experience as valuable as possible. See our refund policy for details.
